The paper presents the extension of classical theorems of work and energy and Graffi's reciprocity of linear elastodynamics to the magnetoelasticity of electrically conducting micropolar bodies. The magnetomechanical couplings materialize only in a ponderomotive force (but no couple). Since the ponderomotive force and the dynamical Maxwell equations are nonlinear in the fields the extension of such theorems for a spatially unbounded body requires some restrictions upon the large- distance behavior of solutions, e.g., reasonable growth of the speed of magnetosonic waves at infinity.
