The authors study the differential equation \[ [a(t)\psi [x(t)]x^.(t)]^.+p(t)K[t,x(t),x^.(t)]x^.(t)+q(t)f[x(t)]=0 \] under mild hypotheses. They establish conditions for bounded, oscillatory, oscillatory with non-increasing amplitude and evanescent solutions.
