Let \(S_ 0\) be the class of nonvanishing univalent functions f in the open unit disk with normalization \(f(0)=1\). In general, an extremal function for the problem \(\min_{f\in S_ 0}Re\{e^{i\alpha}f(\zeta)\}\) for fixed \(\alpha\) and \(\zeta\) is not elementary. It omits a single analytic arc \(\Gamma\) joining 0 to \(\infty\) on a trajectory of a certain quadratic differential. The author shows that \(\Gamma\) lies in one of three sectors, in particular, in a half- plane. In addition, \(\Gamma\) has a monotone argument.
