Fuzzy Hausdorffness has been studied by several authors. Their approaches have often been different and have led to seemingly different concepts of fuzzy Hausdorffness. For example, Lowen introduced and studied fuzzy Hausdorffness through his fuzzy convergence theory, Pu and Liu did the same via their ''q-relation'' concept, and we used fuzzy points to study fuzzy Hausdorffness. Most of the existing fuzzy Hausdorffness concepts are behaviourally the same in several respects. Indeed, as Wuyts and Lowen have recently observed, their fuzzy Hausdorffness concept and the one due to Pu and Liu turn out to be the same. We compare several existing definitions of fuzzy Hausdorffness with ours and note, in particular, that our fuzzy Hausdorffness concept is the same as the ones due to Pu and Liu and Lowen.
