An accurate and stable analytic approach is developed for solving three- dimensional linear inverse heat conduction problems involving the determination of the surface temperature from the knowledge of the time variation of the temperature at the opposite boundary surface. The least- square technique is utilized to compute the unknown parameters associated with solution.
