Let \(X=G/_ K\) be a Hermitian symmetric space of tube type and \(S=K/_ L\) its Shilov boundary. In this article, a new characterisation of the functions on X which are Poisson transform of hyperfunctions on S is given. This goes as follows. Let \({\mathcal J}=k\oplus p\) a Cartan decomposition of the Lie algebra of G, \(p^+\) and \(p^-\) the holomorphic and antiholomorphic part of \(p_{{\mathbb{C}}}\), \(\{E_ i\}\) and \(\{E^*\!_ i\}\) dual basic of \(p^+\) and \(p^-\). Let \({\mathcal H}\) be the ''vectorial'' differential operator \(\sum_{i,j}E_ iE^*\!_ j\otimes [E_ j,E^*\!_ i],\) and \(k=\ell \oplus q\) the decomposition associated to the symmetric pair (K,L). By projection of \(k_{{\mathbb{C}}}\) on \(q_{{\mathbb{C}}}\), an operator \({\mathcal H}_ q\) is deduced from \({\mathcal H}.\) The theorem 1 of the article says that f is a Poisson transform if and only if its lift \(\tilde f\) on G is annihilated by \({\mathcal H}_ q\). Previously, \textit{A. Koranyi} and \textit{K. Johnson} [Ann. Math. II. Ser. 111, 589-608 (1980; Zbl 0468.32007)] proved the same theorem for \({\mathcal H}\) instead \({\mathcal H}_ q\). The theorem of the author is better in two directions: 1) the system of equations is smaller; 2) it is real. Another fact is that \({\mathcal H}_ q\) has a nice interpretation as the contracted of \(\partial\) and \({\bar \partial}\) by the canonical Jordan product, which generalizes the Laplacian on the disk. For the proof of theorem 1, the author uses the following. Let \(h\subseteq q\) be a Cartan algebra for the symmetric pair (k,\(\ell)\), and s its orthogonal in q by the Killing form. This induces a decomposition \({\mathcal H}_ q={\mathcal H}_ h+{\mathcal H}_ s.\) Then the author proves theorem 1 by proving at first that a function f on \(G/_ K\) with \({\mathcal H}_ h\tilde f=0\) is G-harmonic (theorem 2), and then that a G-harmonic function is a Poisson transform if and only if \({\mathcal H}_ s\tilde f=0\) (theorem 3 obtained by using methods of N. Berline and M. Vergne). Theorem 2 is very new and is proved by explicit computation of the radial part of \({\mathcal H}_ n\).
