The present paper is a modest contribution to the theory of weighted mean convergence and mean convergence of the Lagrange interpolation built on the set of nodes consisting of the zeros of \(\pi_{n+1}(x)=(1-x^ 2)P'\!_ n(x)\), \(P_ n(x)\) being the nth Legendre polynomial with normalization \(P_ n(1)=1\).
