Solution of a nonlinear ordinary differential equation with an integral condition (Q1070406)

The author constructs and investigates finite difference schemes for the boundary value problem \[ d/dx(k_ 1(x,u(x),u'(x))-k_ 0(x,u(x),u'(x))=f(x,\lambda),\quad a<x<b,\quad u(a)=\mu_ 1,\quad u(b)=\mu_ 2, \] with the integral condition \(\int^{b}_{a}\rho (x)u dx=V\). He also generalises his results to the case of more general boundary conditions.
