This paper concerns the existence of global solutions for the quasilinear hyperbolic wave equation: \[ u_{tt}(x,t)-a(\int_{\Omega} | \nabla u(y,t)|^ 2 dy)\Delta u(x,t)=f(x,t). \] The proof is established under weaker hypothesis than the ones in previous papers on the subject.
