On indecomposable modules and blocks (Q1072640)

Let p be a prime, let R be a complete discrete valuation ring of residue class characteristic p or a field of characteristic p, and let G be a finite group. The author studies indecomposable RG-modules M satisfying the condition that p does not divide the R-rank of a source of M. Such modules behave well with respect to restriction. Applications are given extending known results on Scott modules and Brauer's third main theorem.
