Almost short exact sequences in non-Abelian cohomology (Q1073184)

The author analyzes a possible generalization of the non-abelian cohomology for groups as proposed by \textit{P. Dedecker} [cf. Centre Belg. Rech. Math., Colloq. Topologie, Brux. 1964, 209-234 (1966; Zbl 0168.268)]. The notation of exactness is relaxed and it is shown that according to an almost short exact sequence of crossed modules an appropriate six term cohomology sequence can be constructed as in the abelian case.
