Geometries of type M related to \(A_ 7\) (Q1073337)

The points of the \(A_ 7\) are the numbers (1,2,...,7), lines are all 3- sets and planes are formed by one class of projected planes of order 2. The object of this paper is to treat geometries which are extensions of the \(A_ 7\)-geometry. The author considers a finite geometry of type M satisfying certain conditions, and he shows that it belongs to one of six types (of four an example is known). The well-organized proof of the theorem is the content of the paper.
