Projective spectral theorem (Q1074084)

The paper deals with a projection spectral theorem [Usp. Mat. Nauk 39, No.4(238), 3-52 (1984; Zbl 0577.47019)] and developes some ideas of the mentioned paper. Now it is proved that the existence of sufficiently good spectral representations of a family of commuting normal operators implies automatically the existence of a rigging of the Hilbert space (so by the projection spectral theore for a family of commuting normal operators in a rigged Hilbert space the spectral theorem can be written by means of ''projections'' on generalized eigensubspaces). The projection spectral theorem is compared with the approach based on commutative Banach algebras and the nuclear spectral theorem.
