The author proves the following two statements: Let E[\(\tau\) ] be a strict inductive limit of a sequence \((E_ n,\tau_ n)\) of infinite dimensional separable Frechet spaces and assume that there exists a locally convex and metrizable topology \(\tau\) on E which coincides on each \(E_ n\) with the topology \(\tau_ n\) of \(E_ n\). Then the space \(C_ c(E[\tau])\) is topologically isomorphic to a subspace of \((C_ c(N^{\infty}))^ N.\) Let X be a Polish space which contains a closed subset homeomorphic to \(N^{\infty}\) and let E be a locally convex space in it so that the bipolar of every bounded Suslin space is weakly compact. Then there exists a topological isomorphism between \(C^ b(X,E)\) and \(C^ b(N^{\infty},E)\).
