The author studies rotation effects on the hydromagnetic free convection flow of an electrically conducting viscous incompressible fluid past a steadily moving vertical porous plate in the presence of a transverse magnetic field. Approximate solutions of the coupled nonlinear equations relevant to the problem are reported in the form of plots. The case of mean steady hydromagnetic flow is discussed. There is no hint (even a reference) how these approximate solutions were obtained, ''the solutions are not presented to save space'' and different quantities are denoted with the same symbol.
