This paper is devoted to the study of the following question: Is there an infinite generalized André plane, which is neither Desarguesian nor a Hall plane, whose full collineation group has no orbit of finite length on the line at infinity? The answer is affirmative and an example of such a plane is furnished via some simple and interesting arithmetical considerations.
