The paper is devoted to Borel's conjecture \(y(x)=O(\exp_ nAx^ m)\) (we denote \(\exp_ 1=\exp\), \(\exp_{n+1}=\exp_ n\exp)\) concerning the growth of solutions of an algebraic equation \(F(x,y,y',...,y^{(n)})=0\) in the particular case \(n=2\). Under certain a priori growth conditions, estimates \(y(x)=O(\exp_ 2v^ c(x))\) or \(y(x)=O(\exp v^ c(x))\) are proved to the equation \(\sum Q_{jts}(x)k^ t(k')^ s=0\) (where \(k=y'/y\), \(Q_{jts}\) are continuous functions, v(x) is expressed in terms of \(Q_{jts})\) and analogously, estimates \(y(x)=O(\exp v^ b)(x)),\) \(y(x)=O(v^ b(x))\) are proved to the equation \(\sum Q_{jts}(x)y^ j(y')^ t(y'')^ s=0\) and even \(y(x)=O(\exp x^ b),\) \(y(x)=O(x^ b)\) to the particular case when \(Q_{jts}\) are polynomials.
