The absolute Galois group of a pseudo real closed algebraic field (Q1077463)

The authors prove that if k is a countable formally real Hilbertian field and G is a real projective profinite group of rank \(\leq \aleph_ 0\), then there exists a prc-field K extending k algebraically such that the absolute Galois group G(K) of K is isomorphic to G.
