Maximality of \(PSp_ 6(q)\) acting on three-dimensional completely isotropic subspaces (Q1078331)

Let \((PSp_ 6(q),N_ 3)\) be the substitution group corresponding to the natural action of \(PSp_ 6(q)\), \(q>3\), \(q\neq 2^ h\) on a set \(N_ 3\) of three-dimensional completely isotropic subspaces in \({\mathbb{F}}^ 6_ q\). Then any substitution group on \(N_ 3\) that contains \(PSp_ 6(q)\) will either be contained in \((P\Gamma Sp_ 6(q),N_ 3)\), or it will contain the alternating group \(A(N_ 3)\).
