The first part of the paper is a comparison of the main different definitions of fuzzy cardinals presented up to now in the literature. To realize the comparison, the author restricts to cardinals of fuzzy sets with finite support. In this case, all the membership degrees in all the points of the support can be ordered within a finite, nonincreasing sequence which plays a crucial role for the comparison. The author adds a new definition: the degree of an integer k in the fuzzy cardinal of a fuzzy set A is the supremum of suitable equality values of A with all k- element crisp subsets of the support supp(A). If here the equality values are taken with respect to all crisp subsets of supp(A) with at least (at most, more than, fewer than) k elements, then the author gets what he calls fuzzy semicardinals. For both, the new cardinals and the semicardinals some elementary properties are proven.
