This article deals with a statistical technique of deriving some summation formulae for Bernoulli polynomials and representation of certain algebraic functions, connected with beta and gamma functions, in terms of Bernoulli polynomials. The essential idea is to derive the density of product of independent beta type-1 random variables by using two different techniques. One representation leads to Bernoulli polynomials. Using the uniqueness of the density and equating the two representations several types of results are obtained.
