The purpose of this article is to discuss the existence of almost periodic solutions of a system of almost periodic integrodifferential equations \[ (E)\quad \dot x_ i(t)=h_ i(x_ i(t))\{b_ i(t)- a_{ii}(t)x_ i(t)-\sum^{k}_{j=1,j\neq i}a_{ij}(t)\int^{t}_{- \infty}K_{ij}(t-u)G_ i(x_ j(u))du\}, \] i\(=1,2,...,k\), which describes a model of the dynamics of a k-species system in mathematical ecology when \(h_ i(s)=G_ i(s)\equiv s\). In this article, we shall investigate some stability properties of a solution of system (E) under some assumptions on the functions \(h_ i\), \(a_{ij}\), \(b_ i\), \(K_{ij}\) and \(G_ i\), and consequently obtain an almost periodic solution of system (E). We emphasize that, as a special case, our result contains a result of \textit{K. Gopalsamy} [ibid. 37, 323-332 (1985; Zbl 0587.45013); Theorem 2.1], where the existence of periodic solutions of system (E) has been discussed when system (E) is periodic.
