Supratopological spaces are introduced and used to define, investigate, and characterize Supra-\(R_ 0\) and Supra-\(R_ 1\) spaces. Let X be a set and let \(A\subset X\). A subclass \(T^*\) of P(X) containing X and closed under unions is called a supratopology on X and \((X,T^*)\) is called a supratopological space. Elements of \(T^*\) are called supraopen sets and complements of supraopen sets are called supraclosed sets. The supraclosure of A, denoted by \(A^{sc}\), is the intersection of all supraclosed sets containing A. If T is a topology on X and \(T\subset T^*\), then \((X,T)\) is Supra-\(R_ 0\) iff for each supraopen set U and each \(x\in U\), \(\{x\}^{sc}\subset U\) and (X,T) is Supra-\(R_ 1\) iff for each pair \(x,y\in X\) such that \(\{x\}^{sc}\neq \{y\}^{sc}\), there exist disjoint supraopen sets U and V such that \(\{x\}^{sc}\subset U\) and \(\{y\}^{sc}\subset V\).
