Let U be an associative algebra over a field K with non-zero centre. An associative polynomial \(f(x_ 1,...,x_ i)\) is called a central polynomial of U if the identity \(f=0\) is not satisfied in U, and the element \(f(a_ 1,...,a_ i)\) belongs to the centre of U for each \(a_ 1,...,a_ i\in U\). Let \(G=G_ 0+G_ 1\) be a Grassmann algebra with a countable set of generators, where \(G_ 0\) and \(G_ 1\) are its even and odd components respectively. The algebra \(M_{n,k}\) consists of matrices \(A=\left( \begin{matrix} a_{11}\\ a_{21}\end{matrix} \begin{matrix} a_{12}\\ a_{22}\end{matrix} \right)\) where \(a_{11}\) and \(a_{22}\) are \(G_ 0\)- matrices of nth and kth order, respectively, and \(a_{21}\), \(a_{12}\) are \(G_ 1\)-matrices of dimensions \(k\times n\) and \(n\times k.\) Theorem. There exists a polylinear central polynomial in every algebra \(M_{n,k}\). - The main concept of the paper is the notion of a so called c-duality of the subsets of a commutative K-algebra \(\phi\)-module M where \(c\in \phi\), on which some \(\phi\)-bilinear symmetric form \(M\oplus_{\phi}M\to \phi\) is given.
