Let \(\hat Q\) denote the Neveu-Schwarz or the Ramond Lie superalgebra. The author investigates the reducible Verma modules over \(\hat Q\). He defines: A multiplet is a set \(M\) of Verma modules such that: (1) For any \(V\in M\), the set of all Verma modules which are partially equivalent to but different from \(V\) is non-empty and contained in \(M\). (2) \(M\) does not contain any proper non-empty subset for which (1) is satisfied. Here, two Verma modules \(V\) and \(V'\) are called partially equivalent if there exists a non-trivial homomorphism of \(V\) into \(V'\) or of \(V'\) into \(V\). The main result of the present work is a classification of all such multiplets.
