A note on our paper ''Theory of decomposition in semigroups'' (Q1081182)

In their note ''Theory of decomposition in semigroups'' [ibid. 56, 9-27 (1985; Zbl 0585.60017)], the authors gave a definition of Hungarian semigroups. Their definition there does not seem to imply the Hausdorff property (for a certain factor semigroup \(S^*)\) that they needed later in the same paper. In this paper, they make this observation and show how to revise their definition to yield the said Hausdorff property for \(S^*\).
