On medieval Kerala mathematics (Q1081589)

In an earlier paper [ibid. 18, 89-102 (1978; Zbl 0375.01004)] the authors identified a number of infinite trigonometrical series in the text of the Tantrasaṅgraha-vyākya, a Sanskrit work of the 16th century. More such series are identified in the present paper. These series are given in the form of modern terminology. A scholarly and sound discussion of the results is given with reference to some earlier works, in particular by \textit{K. V. Sharma} [Hoshiarpur: Panjab Univ. Indological Ser. 10 (Sanskrit) (1977)].
