    Let h be analytic and univalently convex in the unit disc \(E=\{z:| z| <1\}\) with \(h(0)=1\) and Re h(z)\(>0\) and let \[ f_ n(z)=(1/n)\sum^{n-1}_{j=0}w^{-j} f(w^ j z)\quad with\quad w=\exp (2\pi i/n). \] Let \(K_ n(\alpha;h)\) denote the class of \(\alpha\)- starlike functions with respect to n symmetric points consisting of \(f(z)=z+\sum^{\infty}_{n=2}a_ nz^ n\), satisfying in E, f(z)f'(z)/z\(\neq 0\) and \[ \frac{\alpha z(zf'(z))'+(1- \alpha)zf'(z)}{\alpha zf_ n'(z)+(1-\alpha)f_ n(z)}\quad \prec \quad h(z),\quad \alpha \geq 0. \] It is proved that \(K_ n(\alpha;h)\subset K_ n(0;h)\) for \(\alpha >0\) and that \(K_ n(\alpha;h)\) is closed under a certain integral operator. Coefficient estimates for this class are also obtained. An analogous class \(C_ n(\alpha;h)\) is also introduced and some of its properties studied.
