The following two theorems are proved: Theorem 1. Assume the function \[ f(z)=u(x,y)+iv(x,y) \] is defined in a domain D, \(D\subset {\mathbb{C}}\) and satisfies the following conditions: 1. The functions u and v have finite first-order partial derivatives at each point of D, except perhaps only at the points of a countable set E. 2. The Cauchy-Riemann equations hold almost everywhere in D. 3. The function \(\log^+| f(z)|\) is locally summable in D. 4. The function f is bounded for each fixed x by some constant, depending on this x, and for every fixed y by some constant depending on y. Then one can redefine f on the set E so that it becomes holomorphic in D. Theorem 2. Assume the function u is locally summable in D and derivatives \(u_{xx}\) and \(u_{yy}\) exist at each point of D and satisfy the equation \(u_{xx}+u_{yy}=0\). Then u is harmonic in D.
