The author gives an example of a family \(D_ k\) of bounded domains in complex manifolds \(M_ k\), \(k=1,2,...\), such that i) each \(D_ k\) has smooth real-analytic boundary; ii) each \(D_ k\) is biholomorphic to \(D_ 1\); but iii) the boundaries of \(D_{k_ 1}\) and \(D_{k_ 2}\) are not isomorphic as CR-manifolds unless \(k_ 1=k_ 2.\) Geometric and analytic properties of \(D_ 1\) are also studied in detail. Finally the author discusses an example of Ohsawa [cf. \textit{T. Ohsawa}, Proc. Jap. Acad., Ser. A 57, 238-240 (1981; Zbl 0508.32008)], which is closely related to the domain \(D_ 1\).
