The authors study a neutrino field in interaction with its own gravitational field in accordance with the Einstein equations. It is assumed that the neutrino trajectories are shear-free geodesics. Under the hypothesis that a Killing vector field exists which is bounded almost everywhere at past and future infinities of neutrino trajectories, it is proved that neutrino fields cannot coexist with asymptotic flatness. The same hypothesis yields a derivation of an Einstein-Weyl space-time. Under the hypothesis that the space-time admits two commuting Killing vector fields and the magnitude of one of them is constant and positive at the past and future infinities of neutrino trajectories, all the Demianski- Kerr-NUT-like space-times are obtained explicitly. The work makes extensive use of the Newman-Penrose spin coefficient formalism [see \textit{E. Newman} and \textit{R. Penrose}, J. Math. Phys. 3, 566-578 (1962; Zbl 0108.409)].
