Let (X,\({\mathcal H})\) be a harmonic space satisfying the uniform Harnack inequality. Let \(U\subset X\) be a non-tangentially accessible domain (in \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) any Lipschitz domain is such a domain). Then for any positive harmonic functions u, v on U with \(v\neq 0\) the quotient u/v possesses a non-tangential limit at any boundary point except a \(\mu _ v\)-null set where \(\mu _ v\) is the representing measure of v. For a single positive harmonic function u non-tangential convergence is shown outside a null set of harmonic measure. These results generalize previous results for various classes of elliptic second order equations and for more restrictive classes of domains. The proof is based on estimates obtained in a previous paper of the author [Math. Z. 190, 419-438 (1985; Zbl 0555.31006)] and follows the lines of \textit{M. Brelot} and \textit{J. L. Doob} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 13, No.2, 395-415 (1963; Zbl 0132.339)].
