    Let \(\lambda=\) const., \(A_{p\times p}\), \(B_{q\times q}\) be real nonsingular matrices and \(f:D\to {\mathbb{R}}^ p\), \(g:D\to {\mathbb{R}}^ q\) be given functions, \(D:=[0,a]\times [0,b]^ p\times [0,b]^ q\). Consider the system (1) \(x(\lambda t)=Ax(t)+f(t,x(t),y(t))\), \(y(\lambda t)=By(t)+g(t,x(t),y(t))\), \(t\in [0,a]\) with the unknown functions \(x:[0,a]\to R^ p\), \(y:[0,a]\to R^ q\) such that (2) \(\lim_{t\to 0}x(t)=0\), \(\lim_{t\to 0}y(t)=0.\) Assuming, among others, that f and g satisfy in D a Lipschitz condition with respect to x and y, with coefficients \(L_ 1t^{\alpha}\), \(0<\alpha \leq 1\), and \(L_ 2\), respectively, the author shows that there exists a change of variables \((x,y)\mapsto (u,v)\), \(u(t)=F(t,x(t))\), \(v(t)=y(t)-G(t,x(t))\) such that the system (1) can be reduced to a system of analogous form but with functions \(\tilde f\) and \(\tilde g\) which enjoy the same properties as f and g do, and, moreover, \(\tilde f(t,u,0)=0\), \(\tilde g(t,u,0)=0\) for \((t,u,0)\in D^*\subset D\). This result yields solutions to (1)-(2) of the form \(x(t)=F^{-1}(t,U(t)),\) \(y(t)=G(t,F^{-1}(U(t))),\) where \(U(\lambda t)=AU(t),\lim_{t\to 0}| U(t)| =0\).
