Algebras of unbounded linear operators in Hilbert spaces, satisfying certain conditions, as well as particular linear spaces of sesquilinear forms on their domains are studied. They are endowed with an inductive limit topology, with respect to which the ''bounded part'' is shown to be dense. A structure theorem is proved in the commutative case, GNS representations are considered, Jordan ype decomposition is proved for continuous Hermitian linear forms, the commutant is computed and a Kaplansky type density theorem is proved.
