Fuzzy connectedness and fuzzy 0-connectedness were studied by \textit{P.-M. Pu} and \textit{Y.-M. Liu} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 76, 571-599 (1980; Zbl 0447.54006); ibid. 77, 20-37 (1980; Zbl 0447.54007)] and by the author [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 16, 243-249 (1985; Zbl 0587.54013)], respectively. Local fuzzy connectedness and fuzzy 0-connectedness are studied in this paper. Some of their relationships with the concepts of compactness and connectedness are established.
