Herein, the finite deformation of a thin composite sheet is examined in order to study the fiber-induced material behavior predicted by a constitutive model developed previously for finitely-deformed fiber- reinforced materials applicable to biological tissues. Specifically, we demonstrate (1) how fibers with linear properties can induce overall nonlinear response, and (2) some consequences of fiber reorientation due to finite deformation.
