It is proved that the number of zeros of the s-wave Jost function for potentials of the form \(\gamma r^{\beta} \exp (-\zeta r^{\alpha})\), \(\gamma\neq 0\), \(\zeta >0\), \(\beta >-2\), \(\alpha >1\), is infinite. The analyticity of the potentials is essential. The asymptotic density and distribution of the zeros is described too. An example of a two-body \(\pi\) /4-dilatation-analytic potential with an infinite number of resonances is given.
