Let f denote an analytic function mapping the open unit disk \(\Delta\) into itself. Given \(\eta \in C=\{| z| =1\}\), let \(K_{\eta}(z)=Re[(\eta +z)/(\eta -z)]\), \(| z| <1\). In this paper M(f), the set of \(\eta\in C\) for which \(K_{\eta}\circ f\) is the sum of minimal positive harmonic functions on \(\Delta\), is studied. If M(f)\(\neq \emptyset\), then f is an inner function. Attention is restricted to the study of f that are inner functions not reducing to finite Blaschke products (the treatment of which is elementary). It is shown by semi- continuity considerations that for a given allowed f the set M(f) is an \(F_{\sigma \delta}\) subset of C. A converse-type result is established for \(G_{\delta}\) subsets of C. Give such a set E, there exists an admitted f (in fact one representable by a convergent Blaschke product) such that \(M(f)=E\). This is accomplished by the construction of allowed f having the stated property. For \(E=C\) a specific f is exhibited. For \(E\neq C\) the construction is made with the aid of concrete Riemann surfaces.
