This paper carries out a consequentialist analysis of a Nozickian libetarian claim to see if there are circumstances under which this claim can produce good social results. And good results mean compatibility with both Pareto efficiency and the Rawlsian maximin principle. The paper also points out a parallelism between a general equilibrium market system and a Nozickian rights system; which is certainly of much interest.
