Let p be a nonnegative plurisubharmonic function on \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\) which satiesfies some mild technical conditions and let \(A_ p({\mathbb{C}}^ n)\) be the locally convex algebra of all entire functions f on \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\) which satisfy an estimate \(| f| \leq Ae^{Bp}\) for suitable \(A,B>0\) depending on f. For \(F=(F_ 1,...,F_ k)\in (A_ p({\mathbb{C}}^ n))^ k\) let I(F) denote the ideal in \(A_ p({\mathbb{C}}^ n)\) generated by \(F_ 1,...,F_ n\). If \(1\leq k\leq n\) and if F is slowly decreasing in \(A_ p({\mathbb{C}}^ n)\) with respect to an almost parallel family of lines in the sense of \textit{C. A. Berenstein} and the second author [J. Anal. Math. 38, 188-254 (1980; Zbl 0464.42003)] then it is shown that the strong dual of \(A_ p({\mathbb{C}}^ n)/I(F)\) has the linear topological invariant (\(\Omega)\), introduced by \textit{D. Vogt} and \textit{M. J. Wagner} [Stud. Math. 67, 225-240 (1980; Zbl 0464.46010)]. By the splitting theorem of Vogt and Wagner this result implies that each principal ideal in \(A_ p({\mathbb{C}}^ n)\) is complemented, if the weight p satisfies \(p(z)=p(| z|)\), \(p(2z)=O(p(z))\) and (*) for each \(C>1\) there exist \(\delta >0\) and \(R_ 0>0\) such that \(p^{-1}(CR)p^{-1})\delta R)\leq (p^{-1}(R))^ 2\) for all \(R\geq R_ 0\). From this one derives easily that each non-zero convolution operator on certain Fréchet spaces of entire functions admits a continuous linear right inverse. In particular, every convolution operator on \(A({\mathbb{C}}^ n)\) has a continuous linear right inverse.
