Some invariants of spin manifolds (Q1089635)

This paper discusses the generalized Rohlin invariants, Arf invariants, Kervaire invariants and Ochanine's generalizations for spin manifolds. The goal is to express these invariants in terms of the spectral invariants arising from local Riemannian geometry. In particular, the Rokhlin invariant R(M) of an \(8k+3\)-dimensional spin manifold is determined by the spectra of certain Dirac operators.
