This paper gives oscillation criteria for the nonlinear differential system \((\bar S_ r)\) of the form \((\bar S_ r)\) \(y_ i'=p_ i(t)y_{i+1}(t)\), \(i=1,2,...,n-2\), \(y'_{n-1}(t)=p_{n-1}(t)f_{n- 1}(y_ n(h_ n(t))),\) \[ y_ n'(t)=(-1)^ rp_ n(t)f_ n(y_ 1(h_ 1(t))),\quad r=1,2, \] where the following conditions are assumed to hold: (1) a) \(p_ i: [0,\infty)\to [0,\infty),\) \(i=1,2,...,n\) are continuous and not identically zero on any infinite subinterval of \([0,\infty)\), and \(\int^{\infty}p_ i(t)dt=\infty\), \(i=1,2,...,n-1\); b) \(h_ i: [0,\infty)\to R\) are continuous and \(\lim_{t\to \infty}h_ i(t)\to \infty,\) \(i=1,...,n\); c) \(f_ i: R\to R\) are continuous and \(uf_ i(u)>0\) for \(u\neq 0\), \(i=n-1,n\); d) \(f_{n-1}(u)\), \(f_ n(u)\) are nondecreasing functions of u. Denote by W the set of all solutions \(y(t)=(y_ 1(t),...,y_ n(t))\) of \((\bar S_ 1)\). Definition 2. We say that the system \((\bar S_ 2)\) has the property A if for n even every solution \(y\in W\) is oscillatory and for n odd it is either oscillatory or \((P_ 1)\) \(y_ i(i=1,2,...,n)\) tend monotonically to zero as \(t\to \infty\). We say that the system \((\bar S_ 2)\) has the property B if for n even every solution \(y\in W\) is either oscillatory or \((P_ 1)\) holds or \((P_ 2)| y_ i|\) \((i=1,2,...,n)\) tend monotonically to \(\infty\) as \(t\to \infty\), and for n odd it is either oscillatory or \((P_ 2)\) holds. Definition 3. System \((\bar S_ r)\) is called \((\alpha,\beta)\)- superlinear, if there exist positive numbers \(\alpha,\beta\) such that \(\alpha \beta >1\) and \[ | f_ i(u)| /| u|^{\gamma_ i}\geq | f_ i(v)| /| v|^{\gamma_ i}\quad for\quad | u| >| v|,\quad uv>0,\quad i=n-1,n,\gamma_{n- 1}=\alpha,\quad \gamma_ n=\beta. \] Under the assumption that the system \((\bar S_ r)\) is \((\alpha,\beta)\)-superlinear, the main results give criteria for the system \((\bar S_ 1)\) to have the property A and for the system \((\bar S_ 2)\) to have the property B.
