Über Differentialideale im Ringe der ganzen Funktionen endlicher Wachstumsordnung. (On differential ideals in the ring of entire functions of finite growth order) (Q1091507)

Let G be the set of entire functions f for which there exist positive numbers \(\rho\), \(C_ 1\), and \(C_ 2\) such that \(| f(z)| \leq C_ 1 \exp (C_ 2| z|^{\rho})\) for z in the plane. The author defines a ``Diffentialideal'' (differential ideal) to be an ideal in the ring G which along with a function f in G contains also the derivatives of f. Let \(f_ 1,...,f_ n\) be functions in G, and let I be the ideal in G generated by \(f_ 1,...,f_ n\). If I is not the null ideal, then the author gives some characterizations of \(I=G\), one of which is that I is a ``Differentialideal'' in G.
