This paper presents an analysis of the Kleiser-Schumann method using Hilbert spaces of Sobolev type. A time independent flow of a viscous, incompressible fluid flow between two infinite parallel planes is considered. The space discretization is provided by modification of the Legendre method. Theoretical results confirms the experimental observation that the KS method is consistent and highly accurate. Existence of solution is shown by theorems. No examples are provided for verification.
