The author proves the following main result. Suppose that the E-functions \(f_ 1(z),...,f_ m(z)\) satisfy a system of differential equations and an algebraic equation \(P(f_ 1(z),...,f_ m(z))\), but suppose that \(f_ 1(z),...,f_{m-1}(z)\) are algebraically independent over \({\mathbb{C}}(z)\). Then for all \(\xi\in I\), \(\xi T(\xi)\neq 0\) and \(\xi\not\in \Omega\), \(f_ 1(\xi),..,f_{m-1}(\xi)\) are algebraically H-independent, where I is an imaginary quadratic field, \(T(z)\) is the least common denominator of the coefficients of the differential equations, \(\Omega\) is a set containing all the coefficients of the polynomial P and the zeros of the E-function \(f_ m(z)\).
