On a class of p-valent starlike functions of order \(\alpha\) (Q1092198)

The author studies analytic functions f in the unit disk \({\mathbb{D}}\) which have the form \[ f(z) = z^ p+\sum^{\infty}_{n=p+1}a_ nz^ n, \] \(p\in {\mathbb{N}}\), and for which \[ (zf'/f)(z)\quad \prec \quad (p+(pB+(A- B)(p-\alpha))z/(1+Bz)), \] A,B\(\in [-1,1]\), \(\alpha\in [0,p]\). Distortion theorems and coefficient estimates are given.
