Let \(u=(u_ 1,u_ 2,...,u_ n)\) and \(A_{ij}\) \((i,j=0,1,2)\) be \(n\times n\) matrices. Using the results by \textit{V. M. Gordienko} [Sib. Mat. Zh. 22, No.2, 84-104 (1981; Zbl 0468.35061)] the author gives conditions, under which the initial boundary value problem \[ u^ i_{x_ 0x_ 0}-u^ i_{x_ 1x_ 1}-u^ i_{x_ 2x_ 2}=0\quad (x_ 0,x_ 1>0),\quad i=1,2,...,n, \] \[ \sum^{2}_{i,j=0}A_{ij}u_{x_ ix_ j}=0\quad (x_ 1=0),\quad u^ i_{x_ 0}(0,x_ 1,x_ 2)=\phi_ i(x_ 1,x_ 2), \] \[ u^ i(0,x_ 1,x_ 2)=\psi_ i(x_ 1,x_ 2),\quad i=1,2,...,n \] is correct and conditions, under which this problem is not correct.
