Let \(X\) be the natural compactification of the space of rational smooth cubics in \({\mathbb{P}}(3,{\mathbb{C}})\) the 12-dimensional component of the Hilbert scheme of cubics in \({\mathbb{P}}(3,{\mathbb{C}}).\) We give a complete list of generators of the Chow group \(A(X)\) in terms of ``Schubert cycles'', that is: generators characterized by their position with respect to a flag (point, line, plane).
