The problem of mapping some individual preferences into social preferences is investigated. Both individual and social preferences are permitted to be fuzzy. The fuzziness of the preferences is described by the fuzzy binary preferences relations. This problem is analyzed under different conditions and new results are proved. For example, under a relatively strong transitivity condition, the fuzzy counterparts of Arrow's conditions result in oligarchic and not dictatorial aggregation rules.
