On cusp forms of octahedral type (Q1093676)

The author gives explicit equations for the real units which occur in Chinburg's formulation [cf. \textit{T. Chinburg}, Adv. Math. 48, 82-113 (1983; Zbl 0528.12012)] of the Stark conjecture when the Galois representations in question arise from the primitive cusp forms of weight 1 on \(\Gamma_ 0(283)\) with the character \((\frac{-283}{*})\). No proofs are given but the argument is said to proceed in the same way as in Chinburg's article.
